The unique design of the Night Vision Helmet Mount Dual PVS-14 Mounting System also allows one or both units to swing up 180 degrees, completely out of sight, without compromising the eye alignment of the other unit. This feature reduces the chances of the unit hitting branches, door frames, or other obstacles and keeps the helmet's center of gravity as far back as possible for operator comfort.
• 3. NIGHT VISION HELMET MOUNTING DEVICE The Dual PVS-14 Mounting System provides an adaptable system that can be configured as a single or dual tube stereo night vision system. The system comes standard with two mounting arms, but a PVS-14 can be mounted in either eye without interfering with the field of view of the opposite eye, and an immediate upgrade to a dual-tube system is available with two suitable PVS-14 units.
